Antonio Brown was 'high', 'trying to fight' during recent dispute: 911 caller - New York Post

New details have emerged in the latest Antonio Brown saga.

Brown, who police issued an arrest warrant for on Wednesday, reportedly assaulted a moving driver on Tuesday and threw rocks at the man’s truck over a payment dispute. In a 911 call obtained Thursday by TMZ Sports, the driver claims Brown initially refused to pay the $4,000 drop-off fee for a package (which he later paid), and was under the influence of drugs during the ordeal.

“The guy is high, he smoked, he threatened me,” the man tells Broward County Police on the call. “He’s trying to fight, he throws stones at my truck.”

The man also told dispatchers that Brown later refused to pay an additional $800 to the man for the damage, and forcibly took his keys for the truck, using his access to “destroy” its contents (some of which did not belong to him). According to the call, the driver also suffered an injured shoulder from Brown, ripping his shirt in the process.

Brown, 31, did not act alone in the incident and his trainer, former Bengals receiver Glenn Holt, was arrested for his involvement in the incident. Holt has already been charged with felony burglary with assault or battery.

The arrest warrant issued warned police officers about Brown, who has a checkered criminal history and is “known to carry” a firearm.

“Brown had a firearm stolen out of Dade County in 2018,” the warrant said. “Officers should use caution when approaching Brown, as he is known for being confrontational when dealing with police.”

The former Pittsburgh Steelers star reportedly dodged police when officers attempted to question him about the incident, heading into his house and ignoring requests to speak with them.

Brown was also accused of multiple occasions of sexual assault and rape by his former trainer Britney Taylor, who filed a civil lawsuit in September.

The incidents allegedly occurred in 2017 and 2018.
