The Cowboys have come surging back. After falling into a 14-0 deficit in the first quarter, getting repeatedly dismantled by Kirk Cousins and the Vikings' short passing game, the Cowboys responded in the second quarter to turn that double-digit deficit into a three-point game. First, Dak Prescott connected with Michael Gallup for a 23-yard touchdown that cut the Vikings' lead in half midway through the second quarter. Then, with less than two minutes remaining in the half, Prescott combined with Randall Cobb for a 22-yard touchdown on a third-and-7. The Vikings were able to tack on a field goal just before halftime after Stefon Diggs came down with an awesome catch downfield. And with that, after each team took turns dominating a quarter, it was a field goal game heading into the second half.
