Well, that was nuts!
Destroying survivor pool hopes and dreams were the Atlanta Falcons. Losers of six straight games -- and not having tasted victory since Week 2 -- the Falcons went into the Superdome and pulled off the upset of the season, manhandling the No. 1 team in USA TODAY Sports' power rankings, the New Orleans Saints.
Yet, Week 10 wasn't done delivering shockers. It wasn't all that long ago when football pundits were piling misery on the Miami Dolphins, suggesting this year's incarnation might be one of the worst teams in NFL history. Well, the Dolphins now are experiencing a resurgence, having won consecutive games. The Dolphins were one of three one-win teams to prevail on Sunday (the aforementioned Falcons and the New York Jets were the others).
Elsewhere, the Ravens' Lamar Jackson pulled off one of the greatest runs ever by a quarterback. Seriously, you have to see it if you haven't already.
The Vikings pulled out a huge win over the Cowboys in Jerry World in a result that could have far-reaching implications come January.

- Bears 20, Lions 13: Matthew Stafford missed his first game in more than eight years and it proved costly for Detroit.
- Buccaneers 30, Cardinals 27: Jameis Winston continues to throw picks, but the Bucs managed to overcome those miscues to prevail.
- Ravens 49, Bengals 13: For the second time this season, Lamar Jackson finished a game with a perfect passer rating.
- Browns 19, Bills 16: Cleveland overcame its own ineptitude to end a four-game losing streak.
- Titans 35, Chiefs 32: With this thrilling win, the Titans beat a team with a winning record for the first time this season.
- Falcons 26, Saints 9: If there were even still people alive in survivor pools, this shocking result probably eliminated a great many of them.
- Jets 34, Giants 27: For the time being, the Jets get bragging rights in MetLife Stadium.
- Raiders 26, Chargers 24 (Thursday): A dramatic win in Oakland put the Silver and Black smack in the middle of the AFC playoff chase.

Takeaways from a fantasy football perspective for Week 10:
- Giants WR Darius Slayton entered the week with a total of 17 catches in his NFL career. However, he broke out in a big way against the Jets with 10 grabs for 121 yards and 2 TDs. Slayton would be the top waiver-wire prize if the Giants weren’t on bye in Week 11.
- RB Kareem Hunt showed how much of a role he’ll have in the Browns offense in his first action following an eight-game suspension. Hunt only rushed for 30 yards, but was targeted nine times in the passing game –- catching seven for 44 yards.
- The Falcons lost starting RB Devonta Freeman to an ankle injury, so little-used Brian Hill had to take over. He rushed for 61 yards and also scored on a 10-yard reception. If Freeman’s injury lingers, Hill becomes the leader of a very shallow backfield.
- Cardinals WR Christian Kirk will get all the attention for his 3 TD catches, but rookie Andy Isabella has shown big-play potential each of the past two weeks. He caught three passes for 78 yards and could push for more time as the Cards’ No. 3 receiver.
- The three backup quarterbacks who got their first starts of the season in Week 10 didn’t perform all that well. The best of the bunch -– Jeff Driskel of the Lions -– threw for 269 yards and a touchdown, but it’s possible Matthew Stafford could return next week. For those in need of a streaming quarterback in Week 11, a better option might be a resurgent Mitchell Trubisky of the Bears, who threw for 173 yards and 3 TDs.

Monday: Week 10 wraps up with a doozy. The undefeated San Francisco 49ers host the division rival Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN).
